Tikes Bikes at Sunday Parkways

If you haven’t been to a Sunday Parkways event in Portland, put one on your calendar this summer! They occur once per month, in a different neighborhood, all over Portland. Neighborhood streets are closed to vehicle traffic and OPEN to BIKE TRAFFIC ONLY! It’s a great way to take your entire family for a bike ride on the streets of Portland, safely. At neighborhood parks, there are food vendors, playgrounds, and many different activities for adults and children to enjoy.
We attended our first Sunday Parkways in May along with several Strider PREBikes, a Skuut, Little Nutty Helmets and WheelyBugs. Many parents put their kid on a balance bike for the first time and we loved seeing all the brave kids ride up and down the bike ramps!
We’ll be at Sunday Parkways all summer so make sure to bring your friends and family along and come by to say hi!

Hi Lisa,
Unfortunately, we won’t be attending Sunday Parkways in June but we will be there in July for sure! We’ll be at a different park every month and are not told which one it is until a couple weeks before the event. We’ll update the blog when we know.
